1 Day Course - 9:30 to 15:30

This course is based upon a newly formulated computerised system. A copy of the CD accompanied by single user license is included in the delegate rate. The CD will enable schools to monitor and evaluate a number of key areas including teaching and learning, planning and assessment, thinking skills and independence, partnership with parents, classroom organisation and much more. The system will enable schools to set up an annual monitoring and review cycle that involves all members of the Foundation team as well as the option to set up separate files for both Reception and Nursery classes if necessary. On completion of the evaluation elements it will be possible to breakdown areas of strength and development for each of the elements as well as an overview of all six areas of the curriculum. This will then enable settings to compile a Foundation Stage development plan for the coming year.

• Using the package - An opportunity to work through the process, evaluating current practice in your setting.
• Identification and mapping of areas of strength and development.
• Formulation of a Foundation development plan for the coming year.
