Aims
The aim of this one-day course is to provide delegates with an opportunity to address ways of gathering evidence about children throughout their time in the Foundation stage to support the national Foundation Stage profile. Delegates will have the opportunity to observe a range of children at work and to identify a range of methods to support the identification of the learning taking place. There will also be an opportunity to identify other methods that can be used to gather evidence of learning effectively. Delegates will also consider the purpose of assessment and ways in which assessment can be used to enhance and develop children's learning.
