A web site is an invaluable and cost effective way to promote your school and to share information with parents, prospective parents and the wider community. A web site can be used as a vehicle for promoting the activities that take place at your school, it could also act as a showcase for the projects and work being undertaken by the children. The school and PTA can use a web site to advertise the services and events being offered by school within the community. A website can be used as a resource for staff, making information available 24 hours a day.

Below are the details and costs of the services Corfield Educational Consultants can provide:

Design and Build

Design and build of a 10 page web site  - £299 + VAT

(additional pages to be charged at a daily rate of £200 + VAT pro rata, to be agreed in advance)

Annual Maintenance

Annual maintenance is dependant upon the degree to which the site is updated and might include:

• Newsletters;
• Changes to staffing;
• Parent Questionnaire;
• Seasonal issues;
• Important current community and school issues;
• Quarterly website statistics.

Corfield Educational Consultants can offer three levels of annual maintenance contract detailed below:

Level One – a single annual update £99 + VAT* per annum

Level Two – update once per term £299 + VAT* per annum

Level Three – update once per month £999 + VAT* per annum

*Major functional updates, amendments or enhancements to the site may incur an additional charge at a daily rate of £200 + VAT, to be agreed in advance.

The Project

Included in the cost of the project to design and build a schoolweb site is a “kick-off” meeting that will provide an opportunity to discuss, in detail, the desired appearance of the site, the required functionality (feedback forms, contact forms, methods for parents to request additional information, parent questionnaire etc.) and the desired content. Corfield Educational Consultants will then design a home page based on the outcomes of that meeting for approval by the Headteacher, ICT Co-ordinator and/or other interested parties. Following approval of the home page the information required to construct the remaining pages can be collated and the build completed. The whole process would take approximately 3 working days – up to 7 elapsed days.
